Give it up Ron Paul

Not that I'm the first or most eloquent to say it...but the Reps need to thin out the field and Ron Paul should be the first to go. I'm not going to debate the pros and cons of his isolationist views (in this globally interconnected economy/society) because his comment that the US was responsible for the terrorist attacks of Sept 11 show an intellectual capacity equivalent to Rosie O'Donnell. RP, do the right thing and drop out.
Why is McCain support falling? He has been faithful to the party base, has reached across the aisle supporting the compromise immigration legislation and continues his straight talk that was so effective initially in 2000. It's early, but this is certainly a disturbing development for his campaign and supporters.

And they're off...with the race heating up who will have the strength to go the distance and who will pull up short. I'm still sticking with my initial prediction of Hillary for the Dems and McCain for the Reps. They both have organization and experience. Money isn't everything...remember Howard Dean. Make your prediction!
